Yeah, I'm with you. I remember buying Order of Eclessia with "bonus music". I thought it would include a CD or something. Wrong! Days later I received in an email a zip file with 6 mp3 >.<

If you're not happy with your purchase you have all rights to return it. Good luck.

That sucks too.

I would be totally out of control lol

Trophies are meant to be earned and I feel like it would be too easy just to go on IGN or youtube or whatever so I thought a digital map that came with the game would not be considered as cheating...

the map comes from a special code, which the game itself does not have, and most of people won't have it either, so it is still cheating

HAHA @ you for trying to cheat honorablely and missed the golden gun

I still don't consider it cheating :P

Also, using Strategy Guides is not cheating in my book.

And how are those Golden Guns? They looked so sexy.

seriously now, that just makes no sense, whats the difference between online strategy guides and book strategy guides?? I don't have a golden gun but I killed suckers have them while playing online and picked up theirs a few times, they look shinning and pretty, not sure if they deal more damage, but they use their own ammo, like picking up a AK will replace your golden AK, so they don't really last very long.

Well I take money into consideration.

Paying for a Strategy Guide whether it's online or not is ok.

It's just like paying for help. Paying someone to save time. We do it every day so I don' t consider cheating.

you can always give donations to the site

Let us know if they reply to you. I also got the Bonus Map, but I didn't care about it...I downloaded it but never watched it so I didn't even know it only showed 6 treasures.

I'm a little annoyed just because they tried to get customers to buy from their site with a lie...I mean I could've gotten the game the day it came out from my retailer, but I told my self hey there's a little bonus if I wait a day or two.

At some point, something must have come from nothing...

...nothing can come from nothing...

That's exactly it.

I could also have bought it day one but the game arrived 4 days after the release date (which is not bad though).

I just thought those 4 days would be worth the map... -.-

And I'll let you know ;)

lolz who needs that shit when theres a thing called the internet. Just do a quick google search of "Uncharted 2 treasure locations" and you'll get it.

Don't you have any pride?

Are you always running away from someone who fooled you?

Cause I don't and they'll pay!

Im backing Boutros on this one. This is good marketing but illegual, its false representation.

"Pre-order "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" and get an Amazon exclusive treasure map. This bonus video strategy reveals the secret locations of treasures hidden within the game and can be viewed on both the PS3 and PSP systems."

They could have said: "This bonus video strategy reveals the secret location of SOME of the treasures hidden or of 6 of the treasures hidden or parts of the treasures hidden"

But they did not because they wanted people to assume they would get a full treasures map. This is what we call false representation:

Fraudulent, negligent, or innocent misstatement, or an incomplete statement, of a material fact.

Anyone in their right mind would assume they get a treasure map of all treasures, anyone saying something else is lying to himself. I agree that its not a big deal since you can find this info on internet anyway but still by principle I am as angry as Boutros.

We should not tolerate that company act like that because it could become a bigger problem and you never know where it stops. Heres another example of what it could be: If on PSN you purchase something that say: this item will unlock the extra options of uncharted 2. And then this unlock only 2 of the extra option out of 50. It would be false representation even if they never say it would unlock all options. Stating things in a way that make it looks like you will receive a different things than what your getting is illegual, particularly if it was formulated that way in knowing people would assume wrong things.
