Those reviews are just great. I love the pictures that you can see while he's talking, they double the fun
I don't really agree with him though, for me, Super Paper Mario's gameplay fits better to Mario than the original Paper Mario's gameplay.

I haven't beaten Paper Mario yet, but I have beaten The Thousand Year Door and it was amazing. Comparing it to Super Paper Mario, I have to say that I am a little bit disappointed since it was too easy and not an RPG. But it still is a great game.

I found the deviantart reference really funny.
You still have to run in the hamster wheel for about 5 minutes if you want the code to steal the money...

I wonder if he really missed out on the shortcut through that chapter? I personally loved the chapter because it's like a huge joke on the traditional RPG grind that Ben is complaining about. Anyone truly in tune with Nintendo knows that they'd never make a game where you have to run on a treadmill for 45 minutes, so you start checking the place out.
Unfortunately, like another poster pointed out, they ruined that joke with 10-20 hours of bland "bonus" areas, like the Sammer-Guy Showdown.
Thousand Year door is definitely the best Paper Mario game in the series. The first one was good, but Thousand Year Door improved it in every single way. Super Paper Mario seemed like a smack in the face after Thousand Year Door.
I do not get this review. He ignores a lot of gameplay issues and get upset with minor details. He does not talk about the other characters or how it is a pain that to switch them you have to into the menu. He did not mention the 2D-3D flip nor the issues they present. He ignored the brilliant aspects of the plot, like Luigi saying in the beggining "who would do such a thing as kidnapping Peach". He even tell us that the plot is about some stupid princess kidnapping. What about the jokes about RPGs and VG? Running out of lives, I think someone a greater being is watching us.
That review sucked. SPM gameplay is around average, but the plot and intelligent humor makes up for that. I dare say that I had more fun playing SPM than Psychonauts, but in both games the plot was what got me glued to the TV.

That was hilarious. Great find.

SMRPG >>>>>>>>> PM64 >>> SPM >>> TTYD
