Jokes aside, I'm more fond of simples, instrumental songs like the grandia theme, parasite eve theme and so on, but there are some good vocal songs ;)

If you compare this game music with Final Fantasy 6, you´ll notice it barely deserves an 7.5

I found it too cheesy, the lyrics and all.

In part you're right, Eyes on Me sounds like a cheesy love song from the 80's, yet if you pay enough attention, you'll see that it makes complete sense to the situation of Laguna and Julia, like their unspoken words and fears put into song ;) It was more to convey the story of their romance than just to be another song.

The OP has been educated about FF6 songs, also he's a FF6 OST lover as well ;) Overall, nothing in the FF universe can compare to the global feeling of FF6 OST
