When it says like new, I would assume it is refurbished but has the full warrenty...  but if anyone thinks this is a good deal they should verify that before ordering...

this is a second hand console or something like this ?

do you know there are plenty of offers like this around ?

Time to Work !

"Like New" means it's not new, so yes, second hand

PSN ID: krik

Optimistic predictions for 2008 (Feb 5 2008): Wii = 20M, PS3 = 14M, X360 = 9.5M

Seems like a pretty sweet deal. Is this bundle the one with HDMI?

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

I've seen deals like this, also a couple "Out of the box once to test" deals.

I think the B4J-00001 is the old model without HDMI ports, hence why you can get good deals on them.  They're dicontinued

They are probably either refurbished from the factory (ie: ones that RROD and than Microsoft repaired), and/or customer returns that can't be sold as new.  It says in stock, so I assume they have hundreds if not thousands of them.  The only question would be if they qualify for a 3 year warrenty or not.  Personally I don't mind getting used/refurbished for something like this to save some $$$ if the 3 year warrenty still applies.  If it doesn't (or if they is <2 years left) I wouldn't consider it.

I would confirm from Overstock that the manufacturers warranty applies still. That is a smoking deal if it does...

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)

I just used the submission form on their site to ask them this exact question. I'll post again once I get a response.
