Forums - Microsoft - Natal (partly) Kills Kameo 2?

Ok why is your opinion more valid than mine?

Never said anything remotely close to that. You have implied my opinion is less than that of others though. Trying to cite metarankings to shut down someone else's argument, and then accusing them of invalidating your opinion arbitrarily is pretty cute though.

You said the game is terrible and similar to Lair in quality I showed you the reviews that mention that it is a pretty good game and there are people including myself who enjoyed the game. Your opinion is yours and mine is mine doesn't mean that because you think the game is bad that it is for everyone else.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

The reverse must also be true then. Just because you and some reviewers thought the game was good does not actually make the game good. The difference is I stated my opinion. You attempted to invalidate mine, and are now complaining about how you think I am trying to do the same.

Of course, Banjo-Kazooie developer Rare, which Microsoft purchased in 2002, is also at work on Project Natal software. However, according to CVG, the studio's Natal development has apparently come at the expense of a sequel to the Xbox 360 launch title Kameo: Elements of Power.

Once again, I'm reminded that motion control is hurting games (in my opinion).

If the default controls next generation for all consoles are motion (I doubt it) then it's time to move to PC gaming :P

DW, motion controls won't be the 'default' next gen, default implies that there are 2 (or more) approximately equally important options, and that one of them is given the slight preference of being the option preselected.

This is of course nonsense, there will be very few games next gen that have outdated controls even as an option. Motion won't be the default control scheme, it'll be the only control scheme. Oh and fleeing to PC gaming will only save you for a few years. What will you do when MS brings Natal to windows, and when devs realise that Wiimotes work on PCs? Keyboard plus mouse has had its day in the sun, but when the scoreboard reads 30 deaths, 0 kills on your favourite PC shooter you will decide to use a wiimote like everyone else.

Dude, I like my Wii as much as the next guy, and it may even be the funnest way to control a shooter, but....

You are way off the deep end if you think you're going to kill keyboard and mouse players with a Wiimote. The responsiveness and accuracy will never be on the level of a mouse. You will get brutally murdered if they ever make a cross-platform shooter between any console and PC.... Wii included.
