Sky Player on Xbox 360 - latest information.

Sky Player on Xbox 360 launched last Tuesday morning and was met with phenomenal demand, with many tens of thousands of customers attempting to sign-up within the first hour of launch. Unfortunately due to the unprecedented levels of simultaneous demand, we did not have the capacity to satisfy all service requests and therefore temporarily suspended all access to the service.
On Wednesday, we implemented a revised rollout to access Sky Player on Xbox 360, to ensure that consumers experience both a smooth sign-up process and high-quality experience.
If, however, you were able to access the service at any point on Tuesday morning, you will still be able to do so, even if the Sky Player icon has been removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace. The instructions for this are outlined below:
· Press the guide button (the green Xbox logo in the centre of your controller)
· Select the second option from the top which is Quick Launch
· Go right, 1 tab to your Latest Downloads
· Select Sky Player in the download list and hit "a" on your controller
· If you are launching for the first time you will see the following;
'Welcome to Sky Player screen with instructions on how to proceed'
· If you are returning it will take you to the Sky Player home screen
We apologise to all other customers who have not been able to experience Sky Player on Xbox 360, we assure them that this is being rectified at present and we thank them for their patience. And if you subscribed to Sky Player on Xbox 360 and subsequently lost access, we are contacting you directly to let you know about our plans to compensate you for your inconvenience.

About time they made some kind of announcement as to what is going on. Still no idea of when or how they will phase this.
