Forums - Sony - Would it be better if Sony saved gt5 for next holiday?

I was dissapointed when i heard sony wouldn't be releasing it for this christmas, with the momentum they had i thought it could be huge. Gt 5 will be huge whenever it releases, but wouldn't it be wiser to release there biggest ip during the biggest part of the year? It could also even things out since halo reach is releasing next holiday. Thoughts?

better for Sony...maybe yes...better for the angry GT fans like me?hell noooo!

the same could be said for God of War 3. Then again maybe they need something to push both software and hardware sales during March when sales are usually slow.

No I think $ony know GT5 is long over due and they want to get it out as quickly as possible for the fans who have been waiting nearly five year. Moving it to X-mas 2010 might piss off a lot of people. Either way when ever its released sales will be HUGE!!!

Waiting On GT7!!!

that would be a very bad move to make, i know games have been delayed for holidays before, but normally not for nearly a whole year, normally just for a couple of months at the most, anything more only frustrates your user base

it's the future of handheld

please dont do it sony although it would rival the release of reach

In The End , There Will Be Only Chaos

Nope, they have The Agent, Resistance 3, Motion controller, and Metal Gear Solid Rising, Final Fantasy XIII Versus, plus a lot more in E3, they are pretty stacked in 2010.

No way...id go insane

Nope, think of gt5 being a spring/summer holiday boost. They are wanting software to caring 2009 holiday momentum all the way to 2010 holiday. Think of a year round hardware boost. It is a good move to release gt5 when they are.
