I just recently installed Company of Heroes, and i want to update it but it wont let me, help!

I went to the website and i dont see update where, when i go in game to update it says update failed, please try later.

Is it a legit copy? If it is, it could mean the server's down, the firewall is causing problems or who knows what. It's best just to manually download the patch from the internet, but you have to know your version (some updates aren't cumulative).
