Forums - General - Where in the heck do you buy brand name clothing?

Okay, first off, I'm not someone who wants to wear this clothing just to be in the "in" crowd. Just more recently, I realized I want to start looking better and to just stick out rather than being the dull, boring person people around must think I am. So I've been looking recently for some, but there's just one problem. I can't find any of it. This mostly portains to US brands, so US VGChartz may know where to look. I just want to know where do you find these brands. I searched at Wal-Mart (bad idea), some local clothing stores, and still found nothing. Some brands in mind are Aeropostale, Hollister, American Eagle, Abercrombie and Fitch, among others. I'm not doing this to be "so cool". I just want to improve myself and my image, something I've wanted to do for years, while still retaining my nerdy love for video games, of course. So if you know where to find these types of brands or something like it, please do tell. It would help me out a lot. Thanks, and as always, happy VGCharting.

American Eagle, Anchor Blue, Abercrombie, and Aeropostale all have dedicated stores. Their clothes are all overpriced and generally suck (way too preppy...) anyway.

Macy's MAY carry these brands, but you're best off looking for a dedicated store.

Edit: Weird, they all start with the letter "A."

Get some American Eagle AND Abercrombie and Fitch if you want to stand out.

Kimi wa ne tashika ni ano toki watashi no soba ni ita

Itsudatte itsudatte itsudatte

Sugu yoko de waratteita

Nakushitemo torimodosu kimi wo

I will never leave you

I take it you're not a city/big-town dweller? Elsewise you could just walk into the A&F, etc stores themselves.

Wait...you want to find out where to find American Eagle, Gap, Aber Crombie, ect? Have you not tried a mall?

If so, all those places have online stores.

And if you want "designer" clothes that aren't the Gap, Banana Republic and J. Crew are pretty classy assuming you want to look more preppy. The wife has tried to convert me to dress better many times but I will always be a T-Shirt and jeans guy though I can dress up when I need to.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

Wow. Where could you possibly live in the US where you haven't been in a mall in the last few years? There's not a single mall in America that doesn't have at least a half dozen designer clothing stores. Try one out.

Wow really guys? Abercrombie, Anchor Blue and American Eagle? Not to be racist but those are typical Asian/White stores to buy clothes from.

Best places:
Macy's [Jeans]
American Apparel
Urban Outfitters
Pac Sun [Jackets, V necks]

Before, Mervyn's :|.

If you want to dress well, get:

Fleece Jacket

V necks

Cardigans

Skinny Jeans [Grey and Dark Blue]

Vans shoes

Battlefield Bad Company 2 > Modern Warfare 2

Why anyone would pay for this stuff is beyond me. Ultimately, you're doing this so other people can feel better. Trying to fit in by doing what everyone else does is pointless - do what you want to do, and if other people don't like it that's their problem.

Try the mall... You know that place where people usually shop. :P
