This.  I say we bank on the idea that nobody protects DGC tonight, thus if he's pro-town, the mafi (or somebody else) will get him.

If he survives, we lynch tomorrow.

Of course, that's assuming nobody protects him tonight, which I think we should get the word out about today if we decide to go with this plan.

The problem is that in the event he's innocent, the mafia will know this, and due to that, they won't target him...

the reason these people should be lynched even if they are pro-town is to discourage other people from making such mistakes. By adding the threat of lynching people who play poorly for the town people will hopefully not make these mistakes in the future.

I still vote hatmoza though since he wants to be my arch-nemisis and I'm positive we won't end in a lynching today.

But in the end you're giving the mafia a free kill.  While it may discourage idiots in other games, it only hurts the townies in this game.

You aren't just discouraging mistakes in future games, but this one also.

but yah yah ok.. although we can guess that the mafia won't kill him tonight, because if they kill someone else they know we'll probably lynch him tomorrow...

So we assume everyone is telling the truth automatically now? No one can lie? I suggest all the mafia role claim on day one then. It is the easiest way to win. Lynching him sends two important messages. One, the town is smart enough to think you are lying. Two, don't role claim early and stupidly. Both good messages.
