PS1 > N64 every day of the week. The N64 had some great games, but compared to the PS1 it's just not even a contest. The PS1 has probably the best library of games of any console ever (up there with the SNES in that regarded).

well, if I post the entire libary, ill be here for a year, lol
can I put you down as a PS1 fan then?
It is just in Europe, Sci-fi. The U.S. list of PS1 classics is garbage by comparison.

Many more games missing, like say Xenogears, Castlevania: SOTN, Alundra, Vagrant Story, Policenauts, Soul Blade, Parasite Eve, etc

Sure you can.

And OP, how can you forget my reason for buying a PS1: Resident Evil? That game (at the time) was like playing a movie!

added, lol
at this rate, the OP will feature half the PS1's libary!
It had Suikoden II, which puts it in a pedestal higher than pretty much every console. When you also consider it had more masterpieces like FF7, FF8, FFT, MGS, Tekken 3, Chrono Cross, Silent Hill, it's hard to not look at it as one of the best consoles ever released

I cant agree or disagree. Both Consoles had so incredible good games that there is simply no Winner. Its a tie. Its just impossible for me to declare a winner.
