I'd say probably one of the hybrid classes, that way you can be somewhat good at gunplay while still being able to cast some powers.

yea I have been messing around just finding out the stuff the system has to offer. It is quite a different experience from a whole set up stand point than the PS3. I have a Mac so i'm not sure if I would able to do the sync mp3 library thing. I like that a lot of games I want to play are so cheap since I jumped into the console so late. I'm looking forward to trying out some of the 360s earlier classics. I wasn't sure it had themes thanks for the info. Will the gamer pictures be on the marketplace as well as the themes?

Mass Effect and Dead Rising are two of my favourite games.

Oh Grab Dead Space from the bargain bins if you didnt have on the PS3. Its superb IMHO

Also if you like RPG's get Blue Dragon. It got some dodgy reviews but I loved it.

Took me nearly 60 hours to complete so you get your moneys worth.

Keep in mind Halo 3 basically requires Live to be the 9.5/10 it is hyped to be. So his decision not to get it is sensible. Fame_mcswagg needs to get crackdown though, it's awesome

Skip Halo 3 and get ODST instead as you get all the Halo 3 MP maps with ODST.

Lots of good recommendations here, you might rent some multiplayer games and see how you like them for the month you have Gold (COD, Halo, Gears). Welcome, to the xbox family, plenty to enjoy.

OH, and choose a different theme for the NXE, that will get rid of the colorful background you speak of.

Finally I think you can't put an underscore in your gamertag, because unlike your PSN ID, you CAN use a space.
