I was wondering if any of you gear heads could give me a tip or two on tuning a car for drag racing. I was think about tuning a Beatle or an 80s style Mustang for drag.
Thick rear tyres, 1000HP+, rollcage, weight reduction and those rollbars that tie the suspension together and slicks + everything else :P
Set the rear suspension as stiff as possible, can't really think off anything else atm. Experiment :)
I would expect max tyre pressure on the rear tyres would also be good. I haven't got into all of this yet.

Ok, cool. Let me see what this gets me. But how the hell am I gonna get 1000HP+? Are there special drag racing engines to swap into certain cars?
