It's interesting that they use BD Live... I wonder if the disc will work in the other BD Live players that don't have build in Netflix. The main problem I see with this is that it's not integrated... I know going to the PC and adding in movies was a real pain I can't imagine how shitty it's going to be getting out of Netflix... going to the shitty PS3 browser and navigating to Netflix and using their equally shitty website (my god how bad does it look on TV?) and adding movies to your Que. Then you have to go back? Fuck that... shit should be build into the disc they already have a good layout with the way the 360 has it... and that's another problem... using a disc is annoying at best and unexceptable for those who have been using Netflix on the 360.
Yeah right. By the time my Live subscription is over I'll have probably 200 games between XBLA and 360 disc based games. I'm already paying under $30 a year for Live so It's not a huge deal for me. I would never switch to a PS3 just for free online play when I've already invested so much on the 360.
Next generation on the other hand maybe. Microsoft is going to have to convince me to keep paying for XBLA in a few years when the PSN is getting more and more features. Makes me wonder how long they'll stay free though.
As for Microsoft to stop charging for XBL, that's not gonna happen as long as subscriptions continue to rise which they are doing. Maybe a price cut to $40 a year or something.
It's just that simple.

I wouldn't mind seeing a three teir system kind of like Gametap has... so maybe a more expensive one, but you can play all the arcade games without having to buy them add in comercial free Last.fm and a few other goodies and it would be something big

Under 30$ a year? How do you do it? Where do you buy it from?

"...using a disc is annoying at best and UNEXCEPTABLE for those using netflix on the 360".
No offence, but you really should let netflix x360 owners speak for themselves and have their own opinion on that rather than you speak for all of them.
price isnt much a factor as fun. all my fun is on live and when i bought a 360 it was same price as ps3 i got an elite a year and half ago i guess maybe its halo that makes me prefer xbox 360 but thats just me.
