One thing i'm liking about the graphical outup of the game is that the blacks are really defined, you have amazing shadows on all cars and objects on the scenery. Oh, and I've been racing the game on cockpit camera since the introductory race, I don't care for any other cameras other than that one, it was one of my major gripes against console racers, since most pc racers had cockpit cameras from early on.

Same here. Did you know you can move the camera back??

You can see more cockpit, rear view mirror better. And with that, there is loads more shadowing around the cockpit. Stunning.

@Selnor

I did that at the start, the camera really needed that option since the original position is too close to the wheel. I love the details on the cockpit of the cars, and the shifting animation is simply superb ;)

My faveourite track so far visually is probably almalfi coast. WOW. But my faveourite track in the game is The F1 Circuit de Catalunya. That was amazing to drive. I'm on Season 3. Playing every race with +85% on difficulty overall. It only says Ive done 1.7% and I have about 20 cars. The physics and handling are just through the roof. Also the sense of elevation is something Ive never experienced in a racer before. Awesome.

@Selnor

We have basically the same overall difficulty then ;) I'm on my first season yet, and i've only 5 cars total. My favourite track is Nurburing, it's the most complete track there is ;) But so far, i've had a blast on Sebring and Benchmark. Also Amalfi Coast is really gorgeous too. I love how even small bumps and elevations on the road have a major impact on your racing line, especially if you have ASM and TCS turned off.

M5!!!! Yaaaaaay.  I'm getting this game today!!!  Haven't played a racing sim in over ten years and this looks like the right game to break that trend.

I m going here to be amazed
and guess what I see inside ?
official screenshot !!
and, ironically, your title name is "the thread of YOUR media"

I m also surprise you continue your claim about "how FM3 is a new benchmark graphically",
while, even if the game is pretty, it can be topped/outcompeted on this part by others games (yes perhaps more than one...).

While dont you stay on the core gameplay/damage/online/user generated content that are the MANY strenght of the actual "best racing simulation" ?

Yeah. :)

Also whereas in previous racing games you can get away with just lowering the car for better handling on all tracks, In FM3 you have to change the rideheight on certain tracks otherwise scrape your way around. Especially Amalfi. Also some parts of Iberian Int circuit. Man I haven't been on VGChartz for 3 days. I have been hooked. Thought I'd set some VG time aside today. And then carry on giving my next 12 months to FM3. LOL

by the way, I m not gonna stay and "troll" it (to use your word)
so have a nice game !!!

Just please leave the thread. You dont have the game, and clearly have no idea that these screenshots are all taken from the forums of Forza's official site. These are actual screenshots from us the players. So you have owned yourself. I own it, and Ive never seen anything better. But thats my opinion. I never said you had to believe me. I couldn't really care. I have been playing the best game ever the last 3 days. The game looks friggin beautiful.

@Selnor

I haven't been able to go back to Forza since friday night, i've been stuck on lab work for my damn thesis ._. I really have to give it more time, I played till 4 A.M and didn't notice time going by :P

Yeah, you really need to adjust your ride height, especially on racing cars, to avoid destroying the under part of your car xD I had that experience on the Nurb, I took an R8 LM to the track on Free Play, and on the Karrousel I broke the suspension xD

@libelulle

That was a bit uncalled for, most people already know those pictures are from the photo mode, I even said that at the start of the thread, but there's nothing wrong for Selnor to think that the game is his new benchmark in graphical powress, it's his opinion.
