I think that it is a pretty natural thing to be a fanboy, i mean the same kind of reasoning is used for which political candidate or football team you consider to be the best and furthermore, I think that it is in our nature to support one group over another even if the need for doing so seems illogical to others. Either way, it is our decision. So, go on and be a fanboy, just don't be a butthead.
To me it's not what they are fanboys of, but to the degree they are willing to lie or twists facts to suit whatever position they have, and never even consider another point.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

The worst fanboys? Those that push their opinion upon everybody else as if it is fact, and ignore all information that contradicts their beliefs.
These people are not limited to any specific console.
