EVERYONE SOULD DO AS I DID, GO TO XBOX.COM AND SEND THEM A LETTER ON WHY U WOULD SWITCH TO PS3 IF THEY RAISED THE PRICE OF XBOX LIVE..

YOU GET ENOUGH OF THEM AND MAYBE THEY WILL RETHINK THE MESS THEY ARE GOING TO CAUSE THEM SELFS.

I PUT THEY SHOULD ACTUALLY LOWER THE COST CONSIDERING THAT THE PS3 IS FREE AND THAT BEING ONE OF THE BIG REASONS PEOPLE CHOOSE PS3 TO XBOX.

Raising the price of Live would be quite possibly the stupidest thing MS has ever done. It would basically be like committing suicide.

MS don't charge you to get on the internet. They charge you for multiplayer. You can do everything you can on gold but that and party chat for free on silver.

Yep, but you don't need to pay anything to use xbl.

You can download all the demos, cross game chat, rent a film, use inside xbox, message etc at no point is ms charging you (unless to rent the film but thats the same on the cometitors system) and none of that or party mode, netflix multiplayer is the internet. The 360 cant get onto the internet as it has no broswer.

Unless you meant they are charging you for multiplayer.

My guess is this David Dennis guy is just a horrible PR person. "Next few months". ROFL. There's no way it's hitting $100/year. Microsoft would be fools if they tried to pull that kind of stunt. I can understand why they made xbox live gold into a paid system but if they double the fee, that's just ridiculous.

And I agree about the overpriced accessories. Those hard drives and wi-fi adapters are ridiculously priced. And they should also reduce the charger kit price.
