If Xbox 360 loses all Japan gaming companys it won't succeed so well..Tho yes Japan ain't gaming world anymore, but think where Ps2 would ended without them...Or Wii/Ps3.

Looking at the performance of Tales of Vesperia (360) vs. (PS3)...I'm surprised as to how close the numbers were in sales.  The 360 version launched last year...and did 106K in week 1, vs. 225K on the PS3 this year...so given the console disparity in the Japanese market between the 2 consoles and the year's difference, it would seem M$'s strategy isn't too far off the mark.  I think once Tales is released in the NA and PAL, it will easily surpass the 360, but not by much.  It's also going to be interesting to see how these totals stack up when SO launches, since it did 550K on the 360...which wasn't too bad comparative to the history of the franchise.
