Why wouldn't you count previous games.  This is talking about people who are going to buy a 360, Wii or PS3.  In otherwords... people who currently don't have Halo 3 or Bioshock.

It's not like once you buy into a console you can't have games that were released earlier.  I bet a lot of kids who wanted Halo 3 and didn't have their own money for a 360 are going to be getting one from Santa this year.

 Exactly there is no reason, unless people suddely go Blu-ray crazy, for the PS3 to outsell the 360

Lets get some focus .We were talking about wich console would have the better lineup .Not about wich would sell better or wich game would individually be the best sold .

The PS3 ,along with its exclusives ,has a hell of a lot of great multiplattform games as Jericho ,Call of Duty 4 ,Timeshift ,Stranglehold ,Soldier of Fortune ,Need for Speed ,Beowulf ,Assasins Creed ,Lego Star Wars ,Medal of Honor Airborne ,Army of Two ,Bladestorm ,Conan ,Rock Band ,Kane and Lynch or The Orange Box that makes its lineup vastly superior to the Wii one .

But you keep hiding yourself into the hypotethically very high sales of Mario to avoid facing this .My previous post was just how most of you sound all the time ,but it was expected you wouldnt recognise it .

Besides ,you keep putting in the Wi lineup games as Nights and No More Heroes that wont obviously be released this year .

Well if you're not talking about sales potential, then the best lineup is a purely subjective call. For instance, I much prefer the Wii lineup to the PS3 and Xbox360 lineup. You much prefer the PS3 lineup to the Wii/Xbox360 lineup. This is obvious, since that is the reason we own our respective consoles. But it is purely subjective and based on our gaming tastes.

If you're talking about sales potential, in terms of system or game sales, the Wii lineup blows the PS3 lineup out of the water and we'll see that over Christmas as the Wii continues to outsell the PS3.

 First off nights is listed as 2007, Bwii, Mario and sonic, Zack and Wiki, Fire Emblem, Manhunt 2, are all games coming out for Wii this year, so Wii has a pretty good lineup, and the fact is it'll probably sell far more than the PS3

That's funny.  I coulda swore we were talking about a guy who said the PS3 was going to outsell the 360 because it has a better holiday lineup.

The thing about Holiday Lineups is that they arn't just games that are released in the "Holiday Season".  Holiday lineups include just about every game released this year, because there are plenty of people who can only get a console or games for Christmas.

The point is.  The Xbox 360 has more "draws" when it comes to the holiday then the PS3.  Why your even bothering to bring the Wii into the arguement makes no sense since the Wii is going outsell the PS3 this christmas anyway, even the guy who wrote the blog article thinks so.

Honestly, all I can figure is that your clinging on to your opinion that the PS3 has the best holiday lineup because it will make you feel a little better if the PS3 ends up in 3rd over the holidays like it seems destined to be.  This thread is about holiday sales, so your opinions about which will be the best in gameplaty quality are rather pointless. 

I think the X360 has just as equal of a list as Wii and PS3.

IMO, I think all 3 consoles have a great holiday lineup of games. Not only those that have been released since Sept, but those coming out till Dec.

However, with SSBB being pushed back, it does take the Wii from a position of being really really strong, to being equal with the others. So to me, it's a 3 way tie.

Nintendo has SMG and Wii Fit, which should both be rapidly popular, as well as strong second-stringers in Zack & Wiki and Sonic & Mario at the Olympics. Plus you still have MP3, which is a great already-released game.

The PS3 has Eye of Judgement, R&C and Uncharted, which all seem good. Not a huge fan of Uncharted or R&C, but EoJ looks fantastic. You also have all the X360/PS3 multiplats like CoD4, Ao2, and others that give the PS3/X360 a big advantage in some game lineups.

And the X360 had Halo and Bioshock which were both phenominal. However, the article writer must be a deaf-mute, only listing Mass Effect. Where's Ace Combat 6, Left 4 Dead, Lost Odyssey, Kingdom Under Fire: CoD, Naturo, Viva Pinata: PA, Battlestar Galactica (and the other 50 new, original content XBLA games), and such.

So it really depends on what you want in a system, as they're all equal really.
