I had a lengthy possible explanation for this in mind, but then I saw that the game's published by Activision, so I threw that out the window.

And i am guessing it will still sell more than the HD counterparts. I dont understand the hate towards Activision in this situation. They obviously know who their market is for this game and are exploiting it and most Wii owners buying this game won't even know it. Genius I say.
