the flaw in his theory is psn/pc/wii online is free. at $50 a year i did the math and decided it was cheaper to by a ps3 then buy live for the life of a console. now the xbox i bought is unplugged and MS isn't getting any money from me and instead sony gets a lot.

at $100 a year i would think even more people get turned off by the cost on move to cheaper alternatives.

Still I'm buying a PS3 before the holidays ...Slim $299 and a used PS3 fat at gamestop for $249..

I'm a COD4 whore and I played COD4 on my friend's Ps3 and the only diff was that the dual shock 3 controller felt too small for me, but other than that the online multi was lag free and didnt notice any diff between the Xbox version to the Ps3 version they both performed the same to me..

Once I get a Ps3, I most likely will spend more time playing online multi on the Ps3 and use my -Xbox mostly for exclusives

I'm still surprised that select games aren't shipping with 1 month free live cards and or 400 MS points cards for free as an incentive to purchase or pre-order more games. I guess people seem content with garbage like DLC gold colored weapons, uniforms, or bonus side characters.

morpheusx where do you get xbox live gold cards that cheap ($29)? In Canada the cheapest I've seen was $47.99 for a 12 months + 1 month free (13 months) card at amazon.ca.
