Great atmosphere, decent story, unique interface, nice suit, nice weapons, great sound effects, very scary.

Enemies too repetitive, environments samey samey, some mechanics feel like it's just there for the heck of it, some annoying no-gravity navigating

Pros: Great visuals and sound. Some good shooting ideas. Interesting slice shooting mechanic

Cons: no replayability, repetitive, un-original in every aspect, not enough boss fights, not a scary game nor an action packed game.

+ Sound was brilliant, especially when used with surround sound
+ Visual were really good, and the great lighting played a huge part in the creepiness
+ No heads up display. I loved that everything was integrated into the characters suit and gun, leaving the entire screen for games graphics. Plus the information was easier to see since it was near your main focus area.
+ Slice shooting mechanic was great, and more fun than your average "just shoot them in the head" shooter games
+ Great atmosphere, very scary in some parts.

- Boss fights were good, just not enough of them
- Asteroid shooting mission
- Basically no replayability, other than wanting to level up your guns to max. Wouldn't have been a problem if you could increase the difficulty when you used your completed gamesave.

This game was a surprize, best game of its genre since maybe Resident evil 2 or Code Veronica, thou I may be missing a game or 2. I liked the length, I got 12 hours out of the first playthrough, I enjoyed most of it. THe game was a bit scary, I just wish the main character would have been fleshed out more, the whole lost wife on a space ship is overplayed.

• No real gripes about the game, everything else is fairly standard

It was impressive in the beginning, but after a while, the scares quit being scary and I realised that I really didn't care about anyone in the game. It was well made, controlled well, had a few nice tricks, and technically sound.....and pretty unlikeable.

9.0 I loved the atmosphere in this game, very jumpy!!
