playstation home is highly misunderstood. apperently having a service where all you are really meant to do MEET people is not enough so what would it take........ btw home now has universal game launching, you can set up a lobby for any mp game you have anywhere in the world......

just a quick ?, if a everyone you could ever meet on psn was on home would you still not use it?

Clearly people buy gaming consoles to play games. If people wanted to meet people they would use Myspace, Facebook, go outside, etc. I imagine its a lot easier to get laid using those as opposed to Home.

Unless Home becomes a MMORPG people are not going to use it.

just not walk into a group and talk to them.

^^ misunderstood.; think of home as a giant pre game lobby, but with the entire playstation community in it. home isn't a mmorpg -_- thats the meesed up point. i guess the avatars and the world got people thinking its a game. its not a game its not meant for you spend all your time on . you go in home meet a bunch of people launch into a game<---- thats the purpose. it is myspace and the avatar is your profile and you personal space is you home page. home is myspace but for gamers, you know the people who play games. i think home should be the central hub for all ps3 users, espically now with the univesal game launching.

think of all the people that come new to playstaion.. got no games, no firends, and no idea of the ps3 and its in and outs. whats this person gonna do. -home taps them on the shoulder- we the playstation community are all here, its free and you can meet everyone, build your friends list, talk about games, get shown the ropes of psn. that is something no other console provides. if people knew that i think home would be totally worth it. right?

all the things you can do in home from buying things, playing the mini games, and expolring the places is all a bonus, things you don't have to do. they are just there to make the experience more than just a blank white room with nothing but gamer tags. i dont see why people cant see this. home is awesome for what it is and it can only get better, but first people have to get it out there heads that the purpose of home is to sit around and dance, play mini games and buy things like a game. if everyone on psn spent just 20 mins out of their day just meeting people on home it wold be totally worth it. and besides its about time we ps3 owners start supporting our stuff. its free everyone should use home

Here's a few things they could do to Home to make it interesting:

1. If they could make it less graphics intense so zones would just stream on the go (like in any good mmo) and not have to wait ages to only realise there is nothing in that space.

2. Re-introduce voice chat. Or atleast voice chat with people on your friends list.

3. Turn your apartment into a 3d copy of a PS3 version of your facebook homepage. A msg wall, what people are playing, what they played last, what they bought last, their fav game etc.

4. Sackboys instead of realistic looking people.

5. User created content too much to ask for?
