Because that is the only example of a sequel that is a mothership title, and that happened a ways back. I'll go digging later for the exact explanation I remember being given at one point later. Honestly if they turned Symphonia's sequel into a spin-off, and it was the best selling tales game ever, what chance do you figure Vesperia has at getting a mothership sequel?

I might pick this one up sometime. I hear it has a good battle system like Star Ocean, but I really hope the voice acting isn't as horrible.

Darker Than Black is freaking AWESOME. You have to watch it. You should also watch an anime called Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Its also an amazing anime.

I can't think of a punchline but Tales of Vesperia is pretty bad. Not FFX bad but pretty bad.
