Forums - Sony - PS3 Backwards Compatibility

I started playing Resident Evil 4 on my PS3 last week. I forgot how fun that game was. After awhile I asked myself, how many people use this feature (if they have it available on their PS3).

So my question is;

Does anyone use the Backwards Compatibility on their PS3 (if they have it)?

If not, do people still use their PS2 if they have PS3 as well?

I still use my ps2 sometimes.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

I've had a 60GB PS3 for exactly two years and have played a grand total of 3 PS2 games on it- GOW 2, MGS2 and MGS 3. I'm too busy with current gen games.

BC is the reason im looking into buying a used 80gb PS3 phat instead of the Slim. I never had a PS2, and games like MGS i really want to play before playing the current gen sequel.

I still play manyps2 games on my ps3, including, persona 3 and shadow of the colossus as of now.

I still use my bwc for ps2 games time to time

I haven't used the backwards compatibility feature on my PS3 yet. There's just too many PS3 games in the queue to play.

I use it on my PS3 and then also have my PS2 in my home office that I still use.

I've used it a bit, more when I first got it, but recently to play the dmc games

Used it until too many great PS3 games came out. Sold my 60 gigger for a slim and haven't regretted it.
