Heres my trouble. I bought the original LostWinds one week after WW launched. Im a big fan of the game and i think the sequel will be better in just about every way. I have the HBC. Now before some uninformed self-rightous prick bring up piracy (with i dont endorse), i want to update my Wii firmware in order to BUY Lost Winds 2. The same way that i BUY all of my games.

So anyway, my HBC is at 1.06 (the newest version) i think, and i recall reading somewhere that said firmware would survive Nintendos 4.2. Does that hold any water?

Regardless of the morality behind it, installing the Homebrew Channel is against Nintendo's policy, and you can't ask for help here. Don't do this again.
