Numbers are good for a western game in GLORIOUSU NIPPONRU. I don't usually event think to include Japan when talking about a game's worldwide success, but maybe Uncharted'll help to bridge the disparity.

It's a shame Western games don't succeed in Japan much anymore. The first 3 Crash Bandicoot games sold extremely well in Japan. But good numbers given the trend of this gen.

Wrong. DKC sold 3m, DKC2 2.21m and third one 1.77m. They were all made by Rare, which is not a Japanese company.

edit: My bad... I forgot DK64 as well. 1.10m, again by Rare.

Anyway, ND did it too and are still currently turning out hits, btw.
