Hey everyone,

I have been playing Uncharted 2 quite a bit over the last two days and last night and today. While playing my PS3 now freezes and "beeps" twice. I then manually turn it off by pressing the power button, wait a bit and then turn it on again without any problems. I can then play for about 30 minutes and the same thing happens again.

From what I have read this is apparently a overheating problem. Has anyone else experianced a simular problem or do I have grounds to worry about my PS3?

Note: Its a PS3 Slim purchased about 1.5 weeks ago.

its been a problem all over the net...UC2 seems to be overheating PS3 at a quicker rate than normal

this happened to me when I was in the middle east. It wasn't in the middle of a game however so your situation is a bit more scary. What I did was clean some sand and dust out of my system with canned air and it worked fine after that. I hope you find what causing your system to do this.

it did to me by playing the demo (in the grenade launcher only modes, i had several explosions at once, and the game just froze on me.). something's up with this game. maybe IT IS really maxing the system out?

Well apparently Sony is aware and will be releasing an update from what I have read. Did you guys get the two beeps as well when you turned it off. This video is basically exactly what mine is doing.

this only happens to me after long LBP Sessions.
just give it a rest and should be alright, it may not be overheating, but alot pressure into the hardware due long sessions and mainly software thing.
uncharted 2 haven't give me problems.
