the good thing is PD already said they are working on a new engine deformation, instead of predamaged models with few scratches.

F3 has fake damage. PD is working on real damage for GT5 it was shown behind closed doors.
Most of F3 damage looks more like a very bad paint job. It looks as if paint just flies off randomly while for the most part the body keeps it's shape. Also unless the windshield is directly hit (like with your head) you have to tear off the whole front end to break the windshield. Every wreak I've been in the front end was mess up badly without any damage to the windshield. The paint for the most part stay glued to the metal as well.
Ok firstly, Forza 3 has the same level of damage on ALL cars. EVERY CAR. GT5 Doesn't, and only losses paint on all cars. So thats the first part FM3 wins.
2nd FM3 has much better damage than the photos shown in OP. Here is FM3 damage in full flight. Cars parts can become completely removed.

Actually no one knows what GT5 damage is gonna be anymore since it's getting a new physics engine.
That being said that picture you posted looks awsome haha.

Looks cool but not in game.
If you gonna argue crap like this post real photos with hud and everything.
Or save it till guess what, Both games come out.

None of the GT5 pictures are either.... At least leave him even the playing field a bit.

Why complain about selnor posting shots that aren't in-game when none of the ones posted for GT5 are? I don't agree with everything he says either but I am willing to look at it from his perspective too.
No need to get so worked up about this though. They are just games.

I agree with this post. So far FM3 have the advantage as far as car damage is concerned. I'd take a wild guess and say GT5 got delayed because of FM3 - They didn't want to release a game that has been four years in the oven with some inferior features when compared to a game announced just a few months ago, so they want time to pimp out things. That's what I expect, anyways.
