I'm afraid not. Brutal legend left me brutally broke. But anyhow, even though I've been wanting this game for just as long as brutal legend, I would have to rent it first due to the iffy gameplay videos I've seen.

I'm still interested in the game, just there's too much right now for me to spend my money on that I can't take the risk of getting an open world game that I would likely get bored of in a week (happens to me in a lot of open world games because I just lose focus on the game).

It's a shame too because I love Gearbox and know a good number of people there, also a shame that I have to miss their launch party since I already have something else going on that night. ;_;

I know exactly what you mean, if you're not having fun with the basic stuff then that can definitely happen. One of the best things the new Batman game did was make the open world relatively small in size and story packed .

I ran into that problem with Red Faction...I just lost interest, but I'm hoping that I can take some time off and get back in it...problem is...I've got 7+ games on my holiday list and short term.
