Borderlands selling for $39.96 on release day at certain Canadian retailer (WalMart)

As had been the case with Batman: Arkham Asylum, a certain Canadian retailer has decided to sell the upcoming Borderlands for only $39.96 on release day. Gearbox has claimed that Borderlands is the best game they have made so far. We do not know why these great games are selling at significant discounts, but on behalf of all fellow Canadian gamers we would like to express our thanks. We certainly like this trend and hope it continues in the future.

The retailer that is selling Borderlands for $39.96 is Walmart. They were also the ones that had initiated the price drop on Batman. Last time in EB Games, Best Buy and Future Shop also reduced their prices for Batman in response. The game's price can be verified through Walmart's flyer for Quebec here. Although the flyer only advertises the Xbox 360 version, one would expect the PS3 version of the game would be priced similarly. 

Yeah and I'm frustrated because it's not for the PS3 version!
I'll try to fool Futureshop with their price matching policy but I don't think it'll work.
Are Futureshop employees smart? Because I might have a chance if they're not.

It's gonna be for the PS3 version as well. They did the same thing in Aug for Batman: AA. I paid 38 bucks for the PS3 version of that.

But the flyer only mentions the 360 version at 39,99$...

I know, but like i said, they did the same with Batman, they only showed the 360 version, but just keep checking Walmart.ca over the next week or so. Walmart doesn't care which version you buy, they just want you to buy from them. With all there Multiplat games for PS360 the price is always the same for either version, trust me.  :)
