Forums - Sony - Uncharted: Resident Evil!

I bought Uncharted 2  today, like a lot of people here. While playing some scene I thought to myself that this is what they should have done with RE 5. I think they would have been able to build a good mix of action/horror/suspense using the same mechanics as uncharted 2 (but with healing and key items of course). Would be a fair middle between what was resident evil before and resident evil 5. What do you think?

You mean turn Resident Evil into a platformer/third person shooter?

Resident evil is already a third person shooter, but yeah I would add a bit of platforming to solve things. But its more that I would use the type of presentation that is in Uncharted.

They should have made resident evil 5 like resident evil
2. I'm not sure I would be down with the whole uncharted feel

I'm not martin luther king. I don't have a dream. I have a plan

Sell a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish you just ruined a perfect business opportunity.

We didn't emerge out of the stone age because we ran out of stones. Its time to be proactive not reactive.

well i haven't played U2 yet......but although i enjoyed resi 4 and resi 5 they are both over the shoulder action shooters........

it would be nice to have a big old scary house to walk about in again somewhere in a new resi game............its harder to fight off zombies in corridors........will look great this gen and far creepier

Removing the slow controls with controls that respond more quickly? My god. . . .

I think Uncharted 2 took an inspiration from RE4/5 with the treasures. Some of them are out of reach and you have to shoot them so they drop to the ground so you can pick them up.
