So I was at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios last friday (and am going again this friday). While I was there I thought I mind as well se the Rocky Horror Tribute. So I get in and I see how packed everything is and I'm just like hell yeah. Seeing that this movie is more well reiceved then I thought (and this movie was like a BIG, BIGGER then Broke Back Mountian). I was all for the show I knew what I was going into. Apparently though the other half of the audience didn't. By the time the song "Sweet Transvestite" was over A LOT of people had left. Which brings me to my question. Doesn't anyone know what The Rocky Horror Picture Show is?

Yes. My girlfriend loves it. I've never really been a big fan. It was both too campy and not campy enough to be likeable to me.

i personally have a bit of a hrd time sitting through tthe actual scripted parts but the songs i love... this move was like a huge movie of its time.. it took the taboo off of being gay... and everyone loved it ..

1. How can you people say the movie was crap!?
2. How old were the people leaving? I would imagine anyone over 30 should know what that movie is.  Of course that's also something I wouldn't expect to see at a theme park...

I didn't say it was crap.  I just wasn't a big fan.

The payoffs were largely the musical numbers and even then there really isn't any song that pops into my head.

None of the characters really gave me any interest other then Tim Curry who I just liked because I like Tim Curry and his creepy voice.

That and the "shocks" really weren't shocking to me... I mean a guy has sex with a transvestite.. so what?

They were probably expecting the Rocky & Bullwinkle Horror Picture Show.
