Forums - Gaming - Final Fantasy 7- Ruby and Emerald Weapon must die

It's not that easy spamming Knights of The Round cuz you can only use it a few times. Some people forget that you can only do it like 5 times (and that's if your KotR is on max lvl). Mime only works if you have just used it, so you can't cure anyone or else you're going to miming that instead.

Quadra magic also does not work with summons.

The best strategy is actually Counter + Mime.
It's perfect if you have like 8 of each. Put it on Cloud and Omnislash them to oblivion.

Then you should see the Ark summon of FFIX or the Doomsday magic of Vivi ;) Those are the best graphics that the PSX has ever seen.

oh yeah? haha whats that?

FFX dark aeons and penance we're easy as cake, quick hit pretty much took care of all the work.
FFXII had some easy super bosses, specially Yiazmat, but Zodiark was everything but easy, since the battle was mostly about luck, and the odds were against you through all the battle. I had the bad luck of him casting Darkja 5 times in a row xD.

But yeah, when it comes to hard super bosses, nothing in the FF lore is harder than Omega and Shinryu in FFV SNES version xD.

You think 4 hour battles are easy?

Specially by the end when he starts spamming infinite combos with the possibility of inflicting death...

I thought Omega Mark XII was pretty hard but he dies before things get tough. If they kept his HP as high as it was in the japanese version, it would be so much better.

Yiazmat is very easy, just put Yagryu Darkblades in your three characters, genji gloves on your main attacker, and other agility boosters on your other characters, and you'll be hitting him for 9999 damage at first, then 6999 damage, x6 or x7 in each turn.

I won the fight against him in less than 2 hours and a half and only had to run away to heal once.

Omega Mark II was kinda easy, the EU version had his HP as the Jap version 10M HP. Just Decoy, Reverse, Rinse, Repeat.

The FFXII wiki says Omega Mk XII has as much HP on the Pal version as he had on the NTSC-U version.

I considered Decoy + Reverse cheating. I never used it.

And Yagryu Darkblades are too fucking hard to get. That fucker hardly ever appears.

I got 2 yagryus on a 20 Chain of Bombshell xD the next one I got at 43 chain.

Decoy + Reverse was only one strategy, I also used Masamune on my main character and feeded him with buffs while using my other team mates as meat shields with decoy on each one separatly. That way you could control Omega's actions and have proper leverage to heal and back off.

That's odd, I counted the HP damage and it was way over 1M HP.
