Oh ok, it's just that I've never used that trick due to it being kinda cheap ;). I like the paralizing ruby approach better, since it's kinda funny seeing an almighty being just frozen in place like a patethic thing xD.

iirc it should take 16 KOTR/Omnislash mime to kill Ruby

That's a valid strategy like any other, it was my first approach when I played the game on the PSX and didn't have a strategy guide, but I prefer using a more strategic approach now ;)

But its soo funny see'n the knights go round' and round'. :D the animations are so long to for the summon and with thr W- spamming that takes forever!

 

I agree though once we got the hang of the game strategy, its much more fun then to!

It depends on your magic and strenght stats, plus if you're using ultimate weapons that's going to affect your limit breaks as well.

Given that Ruby has about 1M HP, at 9k at most per hit in both Omnislash/KOTR the math is as follows

Omnislash = 15 attacks * 9k = 135K per omni => 8 Omnislashes to kill Ruby
KOTR = 13 attacks * 9K = 117K per KOTR => 9 KOTR to kill ruby

Loool, KOTR animation is really long, but it doesn't hold a candle to the biggest, the longest, the most bad-ass animation ever of a FF summon, Eden!!!!

That animation alone was three minutes long!!!!111!!!! xD

yes it was...my 1st playthrough...I only used it once...
