Updated the chart in the original post with the most recent sales numbers. As expected the release of Uncharted 2 gave the PS3 total a big boost, and currently has a ~1.2 million lead over the Wii and a 900k lead over the 360. Both the Wii (Wii Fit, Mario and Sonic) and the PS3 (Fifa 10, Uncharted 2) have had two games released that will likely stay in the top 5 lists until the end of the year. The 360 still just has Fifa that has a chance of remaining in the top 5 360 list.
So when (if ever) do you think the current standings PS3>360>Wii will change and how will the rankings look then? Does anybody think next week's sales data (and the new releases) will be enough to change the system's current order?
please will people understand this? Wii FIT WAS DISCONTINUED! THERE IS ONLY WF+ NOW.
@ puffy, I'm not sure if that was direct at me, for leaving out the plus after Wii Fit in my last comment, but in the chart in the original post only Wii Fit Plus is being counted.
Wii Fit Plus can sell better than MW on either PS3 or 360, NSMBW will sell extremely well (10m if we go with Iwata's expectations) and probably also M&S...but without WSR Wii is very close with PS3 and 360 in this race.

It was directed at Darth and someone from the first page, not you.
@puffy, ok I wasn't sure but I read your commment and realized that I had made the mistake of calling it Wii Fit, instead Wii Fit plus in my last post.
When I started this thread I thought that it would be closer than if I had just done the top 5 selling titles on each platform (not just the ones released in the fourth quarter), but that the Wii would still win this. Obviously the real holiday boosts haven't kicked in yet, but I'm starting to think the Wii might have a hard time overcoming, Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed, and the HD console's exclusives. New Super Mario Bros. Will be huge, but I'm not sure it will be enough for the Wii to win this contest by the end of the year.
