Insomniac, ND and Sonys ICE team are all in the same building right? In which case why do Resistance 1 and 2 look so awful?

RE2 is very hit and miss, some areas appear extremly high res (like chicago) but then we take a look at foliage and it's clearly, just awful. Also aspects like smoke and particle effects look like they're from PS2 games. There are sections with high res textures, placed over objects rendered with low polygons... they just look out of place.
Although, you may be right. It might just be a few little things which for me, bring down the entire experience. The art style isn't much to my taste either (much prefered the almost WWII style of R:FOM.)

The first uncharted's Drake was 30k polys whereas the other main characters were between 20k-30k and the pirates were 12k-15k.
In U2 Drake alone is 80k polys which is more than double the count. Not sure about the other main characters but they are likely to be significantly higher than the 20k-30k limit from the first game.

it have split screen... and it so it' looks alot like halo 3.
The graphics were on par with killzone 2 which is amazing.
