Its kiddy to the point its lame, being on a kids channel doesnt make it good for being kiddy, Im talking from the perspective of an 19 year old guy and I didnt think the series was so much better than naruto.
Anyway, naruto is a lame character, and sakura too.
I have to admit both have some great animation in some episodes though.

Avatar is too kiddy.
Naruto is not the best show out there but it's still better than Avatar.
Everyone has their own opinions.... I just never got into Naruto.

That's the thing about Naruto.
The main characters suck so badly... yet the side characters are amazing.
Like when they have Shikamaru running a team and Naruto is regulate to "training" it's AWESOME.
Then naruto comes back and it's the same boring stuff over and over again.
Avatar was ok... main characters less annoying, but side characters less cool. Which is better then which really depends by episode.
