It's not that he's not a worthy champion, he deserved it, but in my opinion, he's not a GREAT champion, I mean, sure he was better than the rest, but he was the best in a very mediocre season where he won the first races due to having a car that was quicker than the rest of the pack due to the diffuser (of course, that's not his fault, it was the other team's idiocy, specially McL and Ferrari focusing on the KERS) and when the playing field was leveled he couldn't put very good performances. I mean, people will remember 2007-2008 seasons forever for the excellent races and for two of the most exciting championship definitions ever, in 40 years the F1 history books will dedicate a lot of focus for the 2008 season and barely anyone will remember the 2009 one. Yeah, he will keep the championship forever, but he won't enter the great F1 history, at least not for this season. I mean, Villeneuve won the 1997 season...

but when ferrari/mclaren drivers have superior/faster cars and win the first 5/6 races no one gives a stuff.........

button started in 2000 in F1,it seems to me he was around before then but apparently not,anyway i've always liked button  but then i am english......give him a quick car and he can do the job....but that goes for most f1 drivers......

you have to respect what the brawn team have done this season,if you ask me......and not that you'd be interested but if they give out knighthoods to rowers and cyclists how come ross brawn has not been knighted it's ridiculous the man is a giant of formula 1.....arise sir ross brawn
