why is this on xbox 360 thread? it's not even out yet...

It's out in Europe and Others as of now, sold 9k opening week for the 360 version. The NA version was delayed till 2010.

Risen doesn't look like that type of game that would do good, the reviews were bad too.

PC review were good.
360 reviews were bad.

The 360 is rumored to be a sloppy port. The real game is on the PC.
Not only that the game seems very complex and demanding, not being very accessible, which is something PC onwers like more than 360 owners.
The game appeals to a very niche genre, and I believe all of the potential buyers would have a PC and would prefer buying the PC version since is the superior. Making the 360 was sure a mistake, and will for sure not sell well, but the success of the game will be defined by the PC sales and critical acclaim, because there where the game best fits.

the PC demo is amazing

Well, the game is obviously downgraded and chopped in its 360 version, but it plays decently and it has identical content.
I'm a hardcore gamer that loved old school hc RPG's and I just haven't got the PC to run the PC version of the game. I have the 360 version and till now, the game is great.

Let me ask you all a question. If the original Gothic 1 or 2, had a perfect port on PS2 or XBOX how many copies would they sell? I assume, not many. It s the nature of the games.

why is everyone calling it a hardcore RPG? its a WRPG... a niche genre which the highest sellers are on PC and include amazing RPGs like The Witcher.

Its just out in Others, and it pretty much has garbage reviews.  Still didn't sell as much as I thought for the first week...
