No amount of positive FM3 or Natal press or reviews will prevent them picking out one tiny negative commment, peddling it, exagerating it and ultimately misrepresenting it.
It is unfortunate but every positive Microsoft based thread is matched with an unequal and opposite reaction. That is the science of VGC.

The same could be said about 360 or Wii fanboys who attack PS3 threads.

It could but it would not be true at least on the scale that I am talking about. You are always going to get some, it is the volume and blindness that makes it stand out.
The Microsoft brand is one reason why this happens in my opinion mainly because it is seen as the big bad corporate software house and the obligatory M$ is a direct corolation to that. Even though I do not see anything that Microsoft has done with the 360 to warrant some of the attacks it gets. Even the RROD was handled well (Post RROD obviously), and when people talk about class actions they probably do not understand that Microsoft have probably stumped up more for the RROD warranty than they would of lost in a Class action. Often it is not the recall or the warranty deal that people remember it is how the company handled it, I think they did a good job handling a PR disaster and saved the 360 from certain doom.
Maybe it is because I owe my livelyhood to Microsoft but then again I started life as a Novel Administrator and never hated them for crushing it to death even though in many ways it was superior.

I see it mainly being the volume. I have noticed there are more PS3 supporters on this website than 360 or Wii supporters, but in terms of blindness, all fanboys are equally blind from what I've seen.
The problem with people who attack big corporations is that they don't understand business. They ignore the goal of a business, which is to make money and gain strong marketshare by any means possible. One thing I noticed people attack Microsoft for is their unoriginality. But if I'm not mistaken, Bill Gates clearly stated he makes his fortune recycling the trash of other companies, and it payed off for him. I'm also positive M$ moneyhat other companies in the video game business for exclusives, PR stunts, etc., but I don't criticize it like how fanboys do.
