I didnt even know GT5 was a racing sim, i thought it was just like need for speed. I knew Forza was because when i tried to turn a car going 20 mph i would skid out.

I think you mis understood the point of my post, i was trying to say that in Forza 3 you can spray paint the bumpers, which requires a large amount of polygons and really stresses the CPU and GPU almost to the point of RRODing, GT5 you cant spray paint the bumpers, the blue ray disc isnt large enough.

but cerial the hole 20 mph was a joke? i can go 40 mph and not skid out in my car. Im sure GT5 will be just as good as Forza 3.

Absolutely, but still, i just find this all so stupid. I am a fan of cars. I love driving, I love cars, I love speed. I am getting both games, but i harbor no hatred towards either one. I have never played a forza game before, and Im super stoked to play forza 3 I even pre-ordered the LE. But these comments are just rubbish. This is the video game world, this isn't fucking MTV! Video game developers are respectable nerds who treasure their hard work. This sort of non-sense is unacceptable in this place. Everyone works very hard, everyone shares the same passion, why does turn 10 need to go spouting this bullshit? PD has never, not even once gone on record and made such comments about competition. I just dont understand why this particular game is getting so much hate. Well, I do.

It's the one place that Microsoft doesn't have the heavy hitter GT is. Forza 3 is great though, and i wish it would sell just as well as GT, because it deserves it, but the developers are getting close to me canceling my preorder over this and getting it used.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't Forza 2 come out this gen too?  I'm pretty damn sure thats a sim racing game.

No. You're missing it. The guy said that the Microsoft PR guys statement was 100% true. The guy saying that online bumper cars isn't a racing sim should also be banned. It's just flame baiting. Neither game is realistic, if you run into a wall at almost any speed your car is pretty much fucked.
