Your not by yourself on this one.

What happened to all the games like Spyro and Mario where you would just charge into them or jump on your enemies and they would simply disappear?
I gotta admit Ratchet and Clank is really gonna be a good change compared to all the other shooters out there.

 Banjo Kazooie>GTA

Banjoo Twooie>Halo

Super Mario 64> God of War

Star Fox 64> well... games like this have just plain died, there isn't really a vilent version of star fox 64 that I can think of.

I like non violent games much better. Too many Americans buy FPS after FPS... WHY???????????????

Well I like violent games as well as non-violent, but games that are set in our world that keep increasing the graphics so they can look more like our world shouldn't have arms flying off everywhere.

Lack of options.  It's cyclical.

FPS gets made, people love it.

More FPS get made, people like them.

People see people buying FPS and make more of them.

Market gets oversaturated with FPS.

I'm betting the reader can see what happens next.  I'm thinking we may almost be there.

Ironically, I don't mind Manhunt as it's a very niche market product. Really it should be AO though, I am disappointed the ERSB dropped the rating to M, but on the other hand, Sony & Nintendo wouldn't allow an AO game to be on their systems which, I didn't agree with either.

Thanks for supporting censorship.  We need more brave people like you and Sam Brownback that are willing to stand up to the videogame companies!

What a stupid, stupid post. There's a huge difference between Sam Brownback's "rapists use Nintendo's famous Donkey Monkey to abuse your child" and Gamerace's point of view.

AO means this game is not meant to be played by children. So you disagree???

On Topic: Watched the SOF:Payback video. What a horrible game. Sick. I'm completely with you.

Currently playing: NSMB (Wii)

Waiting for: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii), The Last Story (Wii), Golden Sun (DS), Portal 2 (Wii? or OSX), Metroid: Other M (Wii),
... and of course Zelda (Wii)

whao i like the support but i dont want you to think i am completly aganist gore--some is good--i just want more realistic gore if our trying to market a life like game

@ EIRhodeo,

I don't think the game's sick, it's just comically messy. It would be more fitting if the game was cell shaded.
