Forums - Microsoft - Mass Effect 360/PC Question

I just noticed that it's only 15€ on Steam. But i got a question. I've played most of the game via friends but are there any perks to having the either one of the 360 or PC version? PC usually get some free DLC, but if I get it for PC, I have to get ME2 for PC aswell, right? Because I read somewhere that your savefiles and how you act out the first installment, will affect how you enter the sequal.

My girl recently did a xmas spoiler and told me ill be receiving a 360 this holiday! So if theres some 360 benefits of having ME on the 360, please let me know. Or the other way around ofcourse.

Thanks.

Well there is only 1 DLC available that i know of,  but it does cost money on XBL.

Though you do get Achievements and re-playability with the 360 verison.

The question is which one will you choose?

True, achievements are a BIG plus. Forgot about that. Im such a whore when it comes to such things. Whats the DLC? Just skins or does it add anything good?

There are two DLC packs. But the PC version has updated visuals as well as more mini games. So I would say the PC version

Well there are 2 DLC available,there both mission add-ons

PC for sure. You have a lot faster loading times and no texture popping. Controls are also better in PC version.

I'd get it if you are planning on getting ME2 for pc, if not then I'd wait and get the 360 version.

I googled it a bit;

"If you own the PC version of Mass Effect and downloaded the game via Valve's Steam service you might have encountered some problems installing the new Pinnacle Station paid DLC content that BioWare released earlier this week"... bla bla bla. And then it says;

"That post was made on Tuesday night so its possible that the new version that works should be available to download from the EA Store now."

EA store? Say what?

and thanks garnett.. im like you, never click links :D

PC version is the way to go even though I own a 360.

The game looked awesome on my PC and mine isn't that beefy at all.

Though to be fair I bought it on the 360 and sold it once I learned the PC version was to be released.

It's just that simple.
