Prague baby Prague.

So, this is what I've decided on. And this is really solely based on where everything is located. Prague would be way out of the way (sadly). Im planning on flying into Frankfurt. Then traveling southern Germany (and staying in Schwabisch Hall for 3-4 days). Then train up to Berlin for a couple days. Then over to Melle for a couple days (and take day trips to Osnabruck and Hannover). From there spend 2-3 days in Amsterdam.

Isn't Amsterdam that place with like sex, drugs and prostitution?

Does Esmoreit live there?

I will never leave you

I live in Baden-Württemberg even near Schwäbisch Hall maybe 80km. For October Fest in Munich you are a little to late but in Stuttgart is something similar Canstatter Vasen to 11 October but you will be to late for it too. Citys which are interesting in Germany are Hamburg Berlin Munich Stuttgart Frankfurt.

Outside of Germany I would definetly go to Amsterdam this town is amazing I have been a several times there its fun not just because Weed is legal its awesome you should go there. Another Town you should definetly go is Prague I study there and this town is great.

And both Cities are cheap to travel especially with the train. On Weekend you can buy a Weekend ticket for train and you can travel through germany for 30 Euros with 5 people. And for 39-49 you can Visit a lot of Cities in Europe. Paris is not far away either its even nearer then Prague if you drive from North Germany.

I made a quick look Prague is not so far away if you drive from Schwäbisch Hall. Melle-Amsterdam 270km Melle-Prague 630km Schwäbisch Hall-Prague 400km the difference between Amsterdam from Melle is just 130km thats just 80 Miles. It depends on the Way how you are driving if you take the cheap trains (Weekend Ticket) it takes a long time because you can use only Trains wich are stopping everywhere and make 120km/h Maximum.  But you can take the faster Trains (ICE/TGV if you drive to paris) And it takes just half to 1/4th of the time depends on route becausse they stop only on the main Stations and make upto 320km/h if the track allows it. But you should now that one day for a quick visit is not much time you should stay 2 days. From Stuttgart which is near Schwäbisch Hall you can drive to Paris with the train in 2 1/2 hours it will cost you because its a super speed track without stops and the trains make 300-350 average and no Stops.

Just read in a couple of Months I f you come in December you should go to Nürnberg on the Christkindlsmarkt. Its a really really big Christmas Fair. If it snows its more then beautiful. Thats definetly a must go if you are there in the time especially with Snow. If you like Snowboard you should go to the Alps they are not far away (200km) from Baden-Württemberg (Infact in Germany is nothing really Far away due to the small size of the Country)

If you ever take a vacation between July - September, you must visit my country, Portugal... lots of sun, very good food, cheap , very nice people, many places to visit, just give it a try.

You have been extremely helpful. Thank you!  What week is the Christkindlmarkt in Nürmberg? I arrive December 19th.  Am I too late?

Thanks everyone! I have a good idea of where I'm going.  I wish I could go for more than 2 weeks, but this will be a very busy trip and I wont be able to see everything.

No you wont arrive to late its until Christmas. PS: I expressed myself a little unclear as I said ICE/TGV to paris I meant the TGV is driving to paris ICE is driving to all Citys in Germany and around Germany.

Bring a to protect your self from all the saur kraut.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

Prague and Vienna. Beautiful classic cities that you don't want to miss.

And in Germany choose Berlin of course.

I agree with this.

Yeah that's a good route.
