get Demon's Souls, when you get Dragon Age there will probably be a lot of mods so you'll take even more time with it.

This year I've played Mass Effect and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. All I can say is that these two games alone makes me VERY interested in Dragon Age.

To answer the OP, wait till Dragon Age comes out and you can read reviews and first hand experiences. It's too premature to venture a guess at the moment.
