Yup, hopefully we'll get DD numbers for GT PSP as well.

I think Polyphony Digital will publish GT PSP sales soon, they always do (thoug some months later and on their website)

but the hardware install base for PSP is 3X the PS3 in Japan.

I like the game. Perfect for the daily subway commute.

They usually do it for the quarterly reports. So I'd say January 15th they will publish GTPSP sales.

Its first day sales were very disappointing but during the week has sold quite well.

Anyway we can't compare a main title, although it is for a portable system, with a "simply demo" for a console with a very smaller userbase.

User base means diddly as MGS4 vs MGS3 proves. FFX vs FFXII proves. And the was an 8x difference in user base. Ps3 back when GT5P launched was 1.5 mil.

Yeah, it should be available sooner or later.

 

Anyway, I think this bodes well for GT5 sales as well.

Good point. It's not that it doesn't matter at all, but it doesn't matter that much.
