Want to see an iPhone making love to a Dreamcast controller?

Ok so it’s perhaps not quite as sexual as the title suggest, although there is a very attractive controller pictured, but it is a modification of a Dreamcast controller into an iPhone charging dock, by some chap called Jay Hauf.

I’m really not sure what to make of this.  On the one hand it’s great that this guy has thought to use a Dreamcast controller in such a way, bringing some nostalgia and fond gaming memories to iPod charging.

But on the other hand - he’s just ruined a perfectly good controller for one of the best gaming systems ever invented!! So I’m not sure whether to be mad and kick him in the nuts, or give the man a pat on the back.

Maybe both.

ummm....LOL.

I love the retro nerd gaming fandom mod stuff... but I'll never understand these Apple fetishists modding their phones and music devices. Ugh. Totally gross mix. Should've turned it into a charger for a DS or a PSP or something. Maybe charge the Game Boy Micro by stuffing it inside the top screen part.
