Why don't you just wait for smash brothers brawl...isn't Cloud going to be in it? :)

The ONLY reason anyone would vote for Cloud is if FF7 was their first game and they have a remarkable attachment to it. Which is fair, people have attachments.

Anyone who has played many other games before and after, would give the nod to the fairy boy who doesn't speak.

That really depends, which Link are we using? I think even Raiden (Metal Gear Solid) kicks wind waker's ass.

Otherwise Link hands down.

Cloud a hero, Cloud a warrior? Sorry, but I always found Cloud a bit of a softy, Zack and Barrett are much bigger warriors than Cloud IMO.

Link all the way! Only needs a sword and no extra power to kick Ganodorf his ass. Oh and in case no one has noticed it... Link is all on his own, with here and there a little bit of help from a tiny friend. Cloud has a group of 3 fellow warriors fighting along with him plus a few more, watching :P.

If you ask me they are both pretty much fairies, the really hero is Auron and the chief :)

going to have to go with link. I did like FF7, but it wasnt at all because of cloud, it was because the back stories of all the other characters were awesome. Link on the otherhand is the hero in some 14 adventures, and that is a number that SE can never attain with cloud... although they do love to milk ff7..
