I am running a raid stripe fyi
No raptors though...

Maybe I'll do a reformat. Haven't formatted in 3 1/2 years... that would really speed things up though, and I have about 1.8 TB on the stripe... hmmm decisions decisions.

ssd does sound like a good option though, and I might plunk down 50$ on a sound card.
